Careers Years 11 - 12

Career Education Program - Year 11 & 12

Senior Students are supported through the following programs:

Work Experience - a voluntary, one week program for Year 11 operating over Terms 1 - 3.

Year 11 Interviews in Term 4 of each year to develop Personalised Learning Plan and to assist in the transition from Year 11 to Year 12.

UWS Campus tours in Year 11 and open to Year 12 where appropriate.

Year 12 Exit Interviews beginning in Term 2, to assist students in their transition planning from school to post-school options.

Invitations to attend Industry Seminars

Continuous access to their Careers Adviser for counselling and interviews - parents/caregivers are encouraged to be involved.

Attendance at The Nepean Careers Market

Access to the Careers Reference Room and online programs and applications

Access to Careers News - newsletter, Daily Notices, email alerts and www.mshcareers.com

Senior Seminars held twice a term for both Year 11 and Year 12, on employment and tertiary matters such as labour market trends, what employers want, job search skills, university life and courses, UAC application process, TAFE courses and application process, private college courses.
